CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains: Sketch Card Preview, Part 1

By Shahriar Fouladi

In anticipation of the upcoming release of Cryptozoic's CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains, we're excited to preview the amazing Sketch Cards that collectors can find inside packs! Since this is a super premium trading card release featuring your favorite DC movies—spanning from 2005’s Batman Begins to the recent Aquaman and Shazam!—we’ve enlisted some incredibly talented artists. We have been lucky to work with many of these artists to produce Sketch Cards for previous trading card releases, but they have taken it to a new level for this special product!

A Sketch Card is an original, hand-drawn piece of artwork on a standard-size trading card, usually measuring 2.5" x 3.5”. Unique, 1-of-1 Sketch Cards are randomly inserted into CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains packs at a 1:6 ratio, meaning there will be 1 Sketch Card in every 6 packs, on average. Since a full hobby box contains 6 packs, fans that purchase a hobby box can expect 1 Sketch Card, on average.

Please enjoy this first preview of the beautiful work from our artists. Links to contact the artists can be found below the images of their Sketch Cards.

Shahriar has been working as a writer and editor for Cryptozoic since 2014. When not berating people about incorrect usage of commas, he enjoys staring at walls, eating fruit, and telling toddlers he's taller than them. He also likes superheroes, comic books, TV shows, and Alfred Hitchcock movies. In his free time, you can usually find him hanging out with his wife Laura, enacting some sort of mischief together.
